Chances are that you've been warned about this shows' fillers, and you're skipping them. The thing is, a lot of episodes are only partially filler, so you'll miss out on canon content, just like this episode. This episode marks the first of a 17 episode "filler arc" ending at episode 71. You definitely DO NOT want to skip this arc. Not only because overall it's pretty good, but in my opinion it serves as a great character development for a certain someone, that'll have a major impact in the future. Trust me when I read the manga, because this didn't happen, it felt quite disappointing.

Might as well let them be. Because when I first time watched them, thinking they might be useful later in the series just to realize they were never, so it f*cked up my mind & basically confused the storyline for me. Welp anyways now that I'm rewatching Ik I have to correct this mistake of mine.

P.S. You didn't mentioned about the mixed cannon-filler episodes. Ig these are the ones you're telling not to skip as people might not want to skip these since they're a mix. Tho yeah rest who're labelled as ""fillers" skip them if you're impatient like me who want to be focused on main story

yo, at least add word like "might" or "maybe" because I never skipped a single filler since the first season Naruto. I know people like me are rare but it is still disappointing how people just assume that all first time watchers follow those said warnings about the fillers, and skip them.

Fillers were a pain when I was watching shippuden on release, I had to wait months sometimes for continuation which made me drop the series around ep 300. Now that I can go thru them in a day . I enjoy them very much.

Similar thing be happening to Boruto. Although they quote it with anime cannon, I just find them all boring. Just adapt the manga
